How do I reserve the premises?

Who is entitled to become member?

In principle every representative of a European institution. Everybody else entitled according to the statute, please contact our office.

How many people can be received in the premises?

You can receive up to 150 people depending on the rooms used. The different rooms including capacities can be found here.

What kind of events can be organised in the premises?

Any kind of event with an European topic can be organised in our premises. The most current are:

  • meeting with groups of visitors
  • work meetings
  • Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
  • Events in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere
  • receptions


What material will be provided by the EPA when using the premises?


  • tables and chairs

  • flip chart

  • possibly an acoustic system

  • fridge


 



Do I have to be member of the EPA in order to reserve the premises?

No, the premises are open to all representatives of the European institutions. Priority is nevertheless given to our members as far as room distribution is concerned.

Which costs are to be expected?

The premises are free of charge for representatives of the European institutions during the Strasbourg sessions, including the weekends before and after. For all other times, please contact our office since the conditions of the City of Strasbourg are applicable.

Who can use the premises?

  • Elected members of the EP and CoE with their groups of visitors, working groups, and other representatives of European institutions.
  • Other: please contact our office.


Which advantages come with becoming a member?


  1. Priority in the distribution of rooms.

  2. Participation in events organised exclusively for our members.

  3. Invitation to all events sponsored by the EPA.

  4. EPA members receive the bulletin „The EPA Connection“



How can I contact the European Parliament or Members of the Parliament?

The easiest way is to consult their homepages: www.europarl.europa.eu. Further information can be obtained at the Information Office of the European Parliament and European Commission. Direct questions can be asked at the "Correspondence with Citizens Unit"

When can I use the premises?

European parliamentarians can use the premises free of charge during the Strasbourg sessions, including the weekends before and after. Concerning any other time, please contact our office.

How does the catering service work?

During Strasbourg sessions, the caterer of the EPA is serving our premises. At any other time, another catering service can be chosen. All relevant information concerning drinks and food can be found in the category „Practical information“. You will be billed your consumption, and you have to order.

How do I book the Brussels premises?

In Brussels, you have the Members’ Bar in the ASP building at your disposal. Please contact them directly under 00 32 (0)2 284 17 60.
Attention: the Members’ Bar is not open to groups of visitors.
